QuibCo / RustWire Gospel

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how QuibCo collects, uses, discloses, and retains information when you use RustWire Gospel and its related websites, multiplayer, creator, and dedicated-server services.

Effective July 31, 2026

1. Scope and operator

QuibCo operates RustWire Gospel from California. This policy applies to information handled through the game, websites, accounts, support, creator packages, multiplayer sessions, and hosted-server features. Third-party services have their own privacy practices.

The closed alpha is for adults age 18 and older. QuibCo does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

2. Information collected

Account and contact information

Account identifiers, display names, email addresses, authentication-provider subjects, invitations, account preferences, support requests, and records of policy acceptance.

Payments and entitlements

Stripe customer, Checkout, subscription, invoice, payment, refund, dispute, and entitlement references. Stripe processes payment-card information; QuibCo does not store complete card numbers or card security codes.

Security and device information

IP addresses, IP-derived coarse location, browser and device class, timestamps, login and authentication events, request metadata, abuse signals, and security or fraud records.

Gameplay and hosted services

Player and session identifiers, multiplayer lobby activity, server allocations, connection health, progression, inventories, activity results, moderation actions, and aggregate gameplay, performance, latency, and crash metrics.

Diagnostics

Error logs and short-lived targeted traces when a player is sampled for investigation, requests support, or a diagnostic lease is specifically enabled. Targeted traces use pseudonymous identifiers where practical.

Creator and community information

Creator profiles, packages, assets, previews, metadata, version hashes, validation reports, moderation records, publishing history, community-server configuration, and operator actions.

3. How information is used

  • Provide accounts, gameplay, multiplayer, dedicated servers, creator tools, purchases, and entitlements.
  • Allocate capacity, maintain state, recover from failures, and measure performance.
  • Authenticate users and detect abuse, fraud, cheating, unsafe content, and security incidents.
  • Validate and moderate creator packages and community experiences.
  • Respond to support, billing, privacy, and safety requests.
  • Comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.
  • Improve features using aggregated or deidentified analysis where practical.

4. Service providers and disclosure

QuibCo uses service providers to operate the services. These currently include Amazon Web Services for hosting, storage, security, monitoring, and diagnostics; Stripe for payment processing, subscriptions, invoicing, tax-related features, fraud prevention, and customer billing interfaces; and Resend for sending, receiving, routing, and retaining service and support email.

Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers, vendors supporting a requested service, authorities when legally required, or a successor in connection with a financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the business. QuibCo does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Metrics and targeted traces

Routine product metrics are designed to avoid direct player identifiers where practical. Operational logs may still contain IP addresses, session identifiers, request paths, and error context needed to secure and run the service.

Targeted debug mode is limited to a pseudonymous player or session, has a short activation lease, and uses shorter retention than ordinary account records. Debug access is limited to authorized operational personnel.

6. Retention

  • Routine infrastructure and application logs are generally retained for up to 30 days.
  • Targeted traces are generally retained for up to 24 hours unless attached to an active security, safety, or support investigation.
  • Current alpha runtime backups are generally retained for up to 35 days, with shorter retention for replaced object versions.
  • Account, entitlement, transaction, moderation, and creator-publishing records are retained while needed to provide the service and afterward as reasonably required for tax, accounting, fraud, dispute, security, legal, and compatibility purposes.

Deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until those backups expire. Accepted creator package versions may be retained to preserve purchases, moderation evidence, security review, and server compatibility.

7. Security

QuibCo uses access controls, encrypted transport, encrypted cloud storage, restricted secrets, logging, backups, and environment separation appropriate to the current service. No system is perfectly secure, and QuibCo cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.

8. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of eligible personal information through Support. You may also object to or request restriction of certain processing where applicable. QuibCo may verify your identity and may retain information where required for security, fraud prevention, transactions, legal obligations, or the rights of others.

California residents may request information about applicable collection, use, disclosure, correction, or deletion rights. QuibCo does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no sale or advertising sharing to opt out of.

9. International access

The services are currently operated from the United States. If you access them elsewhere, information may be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.

10. Changes and contact

QuibCo may update this policy as the service changes. Material updates will be identified by a new effective date and communicated when appropriate.

Privacy questions and requests may be submitted through rustwiregospel.com/support or by email to privacy@rustwiregospel.com.
